Welcome to Civic Parts NZ.

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Civic Parts NZ website and to purchases made through our online store.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, together with any other policies that apply to your purchase.

Civic Parts NZ operates in New Zealand and these terms are intended to be read alongside applicable New Zealand law.

Our products

Civic Parts NZ supplies parts and products primarily for older Honda Civic models, including EF, EG and EK generations.

Product descriptions, photographs, specifications and fitment information are provided to help you determine whether a product is suitable for your vehicle.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product information is accurate and up to date. However, specifications, availability and supplier information may change.

Where there is an important difference between a product description and the product supplied, please contact us so we can investigate and resolve the issue.

Fitment

It is your responsibility to provide accurate vehicle information when requesting fitment assistance or placing an order.

EF, EG and EK Civics can differ depending on year, body style, engine, transmission, market specification and other factors.

If you are unsure whether a part will fit your vehicle, we strongly recommend contacting us before placing your order.

Where possible, provide:

• Vehicle year

• Model

• Body style

• Engine

• Transmission

• Any relevant modifications

• Photographs or other identifying information.

Fitment information provided by Civic Parts NZ is intended to assist you, but does not replace checking the product specifications or confirming compatibility where required.

Pricing

All prices displayed on the website are in New Zealand dollars unless otherwise stated.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure prices are accurate.

Prices, products and availability may change without notice before an order is placed.

If an obvious pricing or listing error occurs, we will contact you before processing the order where reasonably possible.

Orders

When you place an order through the website, you are submitting an order for the products selected.

An order may be subject to availability and confirmation.

If we are unable to supply an ordered product, we will contact you and discuss the available options.

If payment has already been made and the product cannot be supplied, any refund required will be handled in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy and applicable New Zealand law.

Product availability

Some products may be supplied directly by third-party suppliers or fulfilment partners.

This means availability and dispatch times may vary between products.

We will provide available information about expected availability or dispatch timeframes where reasonably possible.

Payments

Payments are processed through the payment methods made available through our Shopify store.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.

An order may not be processed if payment cannot be successfully authorised or completed.

Shipping

Delivery timeframes may vary depending on product availability, supplier processing, courier services and other circumstances.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights regarding delivery under applicable New Zealand consumer law.

Refunds and returns

Our Refund & Returns Policy explains how faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied and other eligible returns are handled.

Civic Parts NZ does not offer voluntary change-of-mind returns.

This does not affect any rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable law. The Consumer Guarantees Act provides minimum guarantees for goods supplied by businesses in New Zealand, including guarantees relating to acceptable quality, fitness for purpose and description.

Installation and use of parts

Vehicle parts should be installed by a suitably qualified or experienced person where appropriate.

You are responsible for ensuring that products are installed and used safely and in accordance with applicable vehicle requirements.

Civic Parts NZ is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, incorrect fitment, misuse, modification or use of a product for a purpose for which it was not supplied, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you are unsure about installation or suitability, please contact us before installing the product.

Website use

You agree not to misuse the Civic Parts NZ website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, interfere with website operation, or use the website for unlawful purposes.

We may restrict or suspend access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our business or other users.

Website content

The Civic Parts NZ name, branding, photographs, written content and other original website material are owned by or licensed to Civic Parts NZ unless otherwise stated.

You must not reproduce or commercially use our original content without permission.

Product names, trademarks and logos belonging to manufacturers or other businesses remain the property of their respective owners.
